Herby Baked Eggs

These baked eggs are so easy and delicious and can be adapted to uses any herbs you have on hand.

Total Time 15 minutes
Servings 4 People

Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp Mixed fresh herbs (I like parsley, chives, rosemary)
  • 2 Tbsp Garlic Minced
  • 2 Tbsp Butter Unsalted
  • 8 Tbsp Heavy cream
  • 8 Eggs
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat broiler.

  2. Prep the eggs by cracking 2 eggs each into small bowls so they are ready for the next step.

  3. Divide the herbs, garlic, butter and heavy cream between 4 oven-proof dishes. Place dishes on a baking sheet and place under the broiler until the cream just starts to bubble, about 4 minutes.

  4. Pull the dishes out of the oven and add 2 eggs to each dish. Put back under the broiler for 5-6 minutes until the egg whites are just set.
