My name is McKenna and this is my blog. I have my degree in Food and Fermentation Science and now work in the brewing industry. I love every aspect of food – I love to grow it, cook it, ferment it, eat it, read about it, and now write about it! I try to cook with super seasonal ingredients, usually from my garden. My recipes are a mix of simple weeknight meals and more complicated weekend projects. I take inspiration from all of the amazing food the Pacific Northwest has to offer but also from my travels abroad.
